History of Federal Polytechnic, Bida

Federal Polytechnic Bida was established 1977 following a decision of the Federal Government Nigeria to move the institution to Bida, Before then it was Federal College of
Technology, Kano.

School fees of Federal Polytechnic Bida differs from courses to courses as below.
The following are the approved school fees by the management of poly Bida.
1- NDI SCIENCE, ENG’G & OTM pays the sum of N69,000 ONLY.
2- NDI HUMANITY pays the sum of N64,000.
3- HNDI ENG’G, SCIENCES, TECH. AND OTM pays the sum of N64,000
4- HNDI HUMANITY pays the sum of N64,000.
5- NDI SURVEY & GEOINFORMATICS pays the sum of N79,000.
6- HNDI SURVEY & GEOINFORMATICS pays the sum of N74,000.
7- NDII & ND SPILLOVERS pays the sum of N50,000.
8- HNDII & HND SPILLOVERS pays the sum of N50,000.

OTHER FEES PAYABLE WHEN APPLICABLE

(1) Late Registration Penalty – N5,000
(2) Review of examination scripts – N5,000 per course
(3) Academic transcript – N10,000 outside Nigeria
(4) Academic transcript – N8,000 within Nigeria
(5) Issuance for certificate – N15,000 per certificate
(6) Add and Drop of courses form – N1,000
(7) Appeal against Academic Board decisions – N 5,000.
(8) SUG dues- N600
(9) Change of option/change of course – N2,000
(10) Misplacement of password – N1,000
(11) legacy fees – N3,000
(12) Regularization Administration fee – N3,000
(13) SIWES for management students – N500.
